After a difficult divorce, Leisha Pickering moved to Canton, Mississippi, and founded Musee in 2011, turning her pastry chef skills into a luxury bath bomb business. What started as a way to create jobs in one of America’s poorest regions has grown into a company with 50 full-time employees, products in 5,000 retail stores, and over $300,000 in Amazon sales in 2024. With Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) streamlining operations, Musee is expanding its product line and eyeing international growth. Along the way, Leisha has employed over 500 women with felony convictions through a partnership with nonprofit Crossroads, plus individuals with disabilities. Leisha has proved that real success is measured by lives changed.

After his father-in-law had a medical emergency and the ambulance struggled to find his in-laws’ house, David Ashley realized just how dangerous unclear signage could be. In the months that followed, he dreamt up a collection of products that would revolutionize the home address market—aiding emergency services and beautifying front yards in the process.
