Best friends Sarah Autry and Stephanie Peters launched Duncan & Stone Paper Co. in 2019 after a playdate sparked a business idea. Sarah was hand-sorting Etsy orders for her keepsake journals, and Stephanie saw an opportunity to scale. They launched in the Amazon store in February 2020, using IP Accelerator to fast-track brand protection and gain early access to Brand Registry. As copycats emerged, those protections proved critical, blocking over 10,000 attempted knockoff listings in the past year alone. Today, Duncan & Stone has surpassed $10 million in lifetime Amazon sales and gives back through a local children’s nonprofit.
